Picture
Elizabeth holds a Master’s degree in Expressive  Arts Therapy and diploma in Orff Music teaching for children. She is also  professional photographer, Parent/Child programme facilitator, and teacher of  art classes for people of all ages.

At Waterside Arts studios, Elizabeth designs and  builds sculptural and decorative art  works such as  replicas of 19th century gliders, fanciful flying machines and hand-painted  banners with images of flying creatures from birds to butterflies. She also  weaves large tapestries representing birds from all over the world. These pieces  have been commissioned by many community centres, private individuals, architects and designers throughout Canada.

Waterside Arts also  offers exceptional fine arts classes and  workshopsfor both  children and adults and artistic March Break and Summer day camps
for children. These  activities are held at the Waterside Arts Centre, the Eden Mills and District  Community Club or Edgewood Camp and Conference Centre, all located in Eden Mills  on the lovely Eramosa River. Please check our flyers, brochures, and website for the exact location of your chosen camp or classes.

Elizabeth also works creatively with photography at Waterside  Arts. A candid, fresh, and natural look in her portraits, nature photography,  and photographic murals are her specialties. Clients can come to the lovely  location in Eden Mills to take advantage of the beautiful setting and even  natural light for a portrait session, or Elizabeth  will consider traveling to another specific location of your choice. Elizabeth is currently working on a collection of photos of Eden Mills, the people and the natural and cultural environment, in preparation for a book about the community in which she  has lived for the past twenty years.

Elizabeth has a private practice in Expressive Arts therapy and works both in Eden Mills and Guelph with people of all
with the arts to help them to see a way through life’s  challenges. No previous experience in the arts is necessary for anyone who  chooses to work in this way with Elizabeth to gain fresh, creative perspectives on their lives.
