Picture
Now that digital photography produces technically perfect photos from even mobile phones, my challenge as an artist photographer is to move beyond this every day realism.
This same technology now allows us to change our images in infinite ways to create art from real life. As painters observe and interpret their subject, software now allows us to do the same.
As a long term photographer, I am happy to follow the well trodden path of painters who move from realism to impressionism and the abstract over their career.
