Yvonne Cummings

A life long interest in creativity continues to inspire Yvonne’s captivating paintings and drawings. Born in the verdant hills of Ireland, Yvonne emigrated to Canada with her young family. She retired from teaching recently, releasing more time for family, art and travelling.
Keen observation skills are reflected in the sensitive detail of her many landscapes, seascapes, buildings and personal glimpses of nature. She has enjoyed painting and drawing from childhood. Water colour was her passion for many years but she also enjoys working in pen and ink, pencil, and acrylic paints. A few recent developments have involved designing pendants using miniature original paintings and running painting workshops. Her work has been exhibited in Ireland and in several studio tours and galleries in Ontario.
